Firefighters will remain on scene for an extended period of time to manage hot spots and establish a full bare-soil perimeter around the burned area. Cooling apparatus have been requested for firefighter rehabilitation. Traffic will be impacted, and motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes. First-arriving companies quickly attacked the fire and rescued the victim. Paramedics assessed the patient (27F), who has refused hospital transport. Knockdown officially declared in 25 minutes from the time of the initial 911 call with 37 firefighters on scene.
