KNOCKDOWN Brush Fire; INC#0898; 02:02PM; 1639 N Laurel Canyon Bl; https://bit.ly/44TWAE9; Hollywood Hills West; KNOCKDOWN: Over 90 firefighters extinguished the fire in just under one hour with no injuries reported. The four homes which were threatened were successfully defended thanks to proper brush clearance which provided the defensible space the firefighters needed. Traffic on Laurel Canyon Blvd will remain impacted as the mop up operations continue through the afternoon. Drivers are highly advised to seek alternate routes. Additional crews are working to gain access to the seat of the fire and deploy progressive hose lays to encircle the fire. There are no evacuation orders in place.
