Agency Assist; INC#1284; 05:44PM; 5440 W San Fernando Rd; https://bit.ly/3sxR3oM; #AtwaterVillage; PRELIM: Metrolink Antelope Valley Line (outbound) passenger Train #269 reportedly struck one vehicle upon or near the tracks in the vicinity of San Fernando Road and Doran Street - at the City of Los Angeles / Glendale border, with the train continuing a short distance 'northbound' before coming to an emergency stop, upright and on the tracks. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle that was struck, was found walking nearby and initially appeared uninjured. The train crew (One Engineer and One Conductor), and approximately 95 passengers among the four passenger rail cars, have denied injury. As the incident location was determined to be within Glendale city limits, the Glendale Fire Department is in Command, and LAFD is an assisting agency.
