Update Initial alert was incorrect Brush Fire, Outside City; INC#0915; 06:00PM; Lake Hughes Road ; https://bit.ly/2A0XxAC; Van Nuys; LAFD is fulling a request for two strike teams (total of 10 engines and two battalion chiefs) and a 3rd strike team comprising Culver City FD, Beverly Hills FD and Santa Monica FD to assist at the Lake Hughes brush fire. The fire is currently reported to be 7,000 acres with evacuation orders in place. It is a LACoFD and Angeles National Forest incident. Update #IndustrialFire - Knockdown Structure Fire; INC#0659; 01:00PM; 1540 E Industrial St; https://bit.ly/3fKKRxz; Downtown; 130 LAFD Firefighters took just 71 minutes to fully extinguish active flame within a portion of a large two-story cold storage facility that was actively undergoing demolition when flames erupted within, briefly trapping a demolition worker, who was able to extricate himself from the building without injury. The cause of the fire is under active investigation. He is part of our 130 LAFD member Automatic Aid commitment that remains assigned to the still active blaze in a multi-agency (LACoFD / VCFD / LAFD) wildfire Mutual Threat Zone.; - Brian Humphrey
