There have been no injuries. Monetary loss still being tabulated. Update #87thPlaceFire Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0852; 04:30PM; 8730 S Crocker St; https://bit.ly/3fGdoYC; Green Meadows; With 170 LAFD Firefighters assigned and continuing in defensive operations, this still active fire known as the "87th Place Fire", remains an LAFD 'Major Emergency' incident, with no injuries reported. Reported to 9-1-1 as an outside fire, on firefighter's arrival, the blaze had already entered an approximately 300' x 300' one-story commercial structure with three contiguous roofs, housing what at first appeared to be solely an expansive furniture manufacturing business, but also now appears to have housed a marijuana grow operation. A comprehensive assessment of all businesses, and building/s use, will occur when the fire is extinguished.
