The vehicle remains overturned at the entrance of a parking level of a multi-story residential building, but does not appear to have caused structural damage to the building itself. The fire spread to less than one acre of grass. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1166; 04:02PM; 5036 N Vineland Av; https://bit.ly/47CZmQn; #NorthHollywood; Firefighters were called to a vacant two-story 1,028 sq-ft duplex (built in 1951) to find heavy fire showing. Crews began in defensive mode, fighting the fire from the exterior only, later transitioning to an interior fire attack for final extinguishment. The building sustained heavy damage on both floors. It took 34 firefighters 17 minutes to fully extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. It took 36 firefighters to extinguish the flames in 28 minutes, keeping the fire from affecting structures on a nearby residential property. One wooden fence sustained minor damage. The total size of the burned area is between approximately 1/8 to 1/4 of an acre. No reported injuries. Crews found heavy fire in the attic, spreading through the building. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and 42 firefighters extinguished the flames in 17 minutes.
