An adult female was located on the ground, next to the RV (outside) with no apparent burn or respiratory injuries. The patient in being transported in fair condition. It is not a trench nor confined space rescue. Firefighters are preparing for a litter basket operation using the aerial ladder truck to safely secure the patient and bring him to surface level for ground transport. The incident will scale down with a number of units being released and canceled enroute. The vehicle is resting against a tree and is not stable. Firefighters are working to stabilize the vehicle and Heavy Rescue rig is enroute to assess the situation. Mulholland Dr will remain closed from Laurel Canyon to Coldwater Canyon until the operation is complete. Firefighters are preparing for a two line rope system using a litter basket while LAFD Air Ops is enroute and will lower a medic to assist in evaluating the patient. The fire extended up into the attic and at least one room in the building. The business, Chase Bank, was not yet open for the day and no one was present. LAPD are responding to secure the building. LADOT have traffic closed at Victory / Sepulveda and drivers are advised to avoid the area (do NOT drive over the 4' yellow supply lines that may be in the street) for the next several hours. LAFD Arson is responding for the investigation.
