Update Updated Address Structure Fire; INC#0149; 03:39AM; 8720 S San Pedro St; https://bit.ly/3ZmuaCE; Broadway-Manchester; With over 16 fire companies on scene, this is now a Major Emergency status incident. Firefighters continue to defensively battle heavy fire in the large, metal clad building (DBA Allied Steel) while also defending the adjoined cabinetry business. The fire started extending inside and crews made entry to extinguish the flames. Per protocol, LAFD Arson is enroute to assist in the cause investigation. Debris Flow, Small; INC#0628; 10:31AM; 2059 N Laurel Canyon Bl; https://bit.ly/493eK9q; Hollywood Hills West; Small debris flow from a retaining wall failure onto N Laurel Canyon Road. No structures damaged and no injuries reported. Currently, Southbound traffic on N Laurel Canyon is closed at Kirkwood. LA Dept of Building and Safety (LADBS) is responding and will make the determination if full closure is required. Update Structure Fire; INC#0260; 06:07AM; 9473 N Reverie Rd; https://bit.ly/4fX0ukT; Tujunga; This extended duration firefight continues as crews face difficulty reaching all areas of the fire due to the terrain (descending hillside home). LAFD Air Ops provided water drops on the surrounding vegetation as the ember cast was threatening extension. There are no other structures exposed. The home has a partial collapse and full collapse is anticipated. There are no injuries reported.
