Crews quickly made access and deployed hose lines inside the building. It took 34 firefighters 24 minutes (1:42am) to extinguish the flames. After eliminating the fire, crews performed a search of the interior and found one person deceased. Per protocol, LAFD Arson investigators have been summoned for a fire-cause investigation. The first 32 firefighters made in aggressive attack on the fire and stopped it before it could spread to the living space of the home. Firefighters access, confined, and extinguished the flames in 19 minutes. Thankfully, the occupants of the home escaped early in the incident and were unharmed.
