Update Traffic Collision; INC#1065; 04:45PM; 12850 W Branford St; http://bit.ly/31Pmh82; Pacoima; 3 persons with minor injury have been evaluated: 1 male truck driver and 2 females from scene. The women's location at time of collision has yet to be determined. The man is declining care, while the women will likely be taken to an area hospital. One male resident of the involved apartment that was initially described as missing, was determined to be safe at work. Firefighters are meticulously searching the building to make certain there are no hazards or others injured. Water and natural gas utilities have been secured. LA Dept of Building & Safety en route with ETA 5:30 PM. Hazardous Materials Investigation 08/19/2019 INC#0955

Hazardous Materials Investigation; INC#0955; 08:45PM; 2820 W Slauson Av; http://bit.ly/2Nj75Mz; Hyde Park; Multiple large containers of paint and/or painting related chemicals were discovered within one building, and the earlier noted fumes have fully dissipated since LAFD arrival. Fire Department and allied agency sensors no longer register any flammable vapors. There was no fire, no illness and no injury. The nearly 30 persons who were temporarily evacuated from 3 buildingsout of an abundance of caution, have returned home. No remote shelter proved necessary. Slauson Boulevard is now open in both directions between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue.
