An LAFD helicopter is orbiting the area in an aerial reconnaissance and command support role, reporting no ember cast and no current threat of area wildfire. No injuries have been reported. The fire was contained to the exterior and prevented from extending into the main structure. An additional outside fire extended into a converted, detached garage which firefighters quickly extinguished. There are no injuries reported.
