Update Multi-Patient Traffic Collision; INC#0905; 01:55PM; 11000 W Victory Bl; https://bit.ly/3WP1y2l; #NorthHollywood; Two vehicle collision at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue. One vehicle struck a 22M pedestrian (no bicycle) before colliding with a traffic signal pole on the northwest corner of Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, which toppled onto that vehicle, trapping the two occupants (26M + 35M). The pair were freed from their sedan by firefighters. All three of the aforementioned patients were taken to a regional trauma center by LAFD Paramedics in serious condition. The 65F driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle sustained only minor injury, and declined treatment or ambulance transportation. No other injuries were reported. The cars careened towards a building under construction however there was little impact on the structure. Each vehicle had a single occupant, male driver approximately 30-45yo. Sadly, both drivers were beyond medical help and were determined deceased on scene. The incident is now under LAPD command (77th Division) for the fatality investigation. Incident number 0801. The 9-1-1 call was received at 5:03AM.
