Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames, but, sadly, both occupants on board were found to be deceased. It took 55 firefighters 50 minutes to access confine and extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. Thankfully, the occupants who were initially reported as unaccounted for were not home at the time, and no human patients were found. Firefighters rescued one canine from the structure. It took 36 firefighters 20 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames. Crews will remain on scene to "mop up" (seek out and eliminate hot spots within the burn footprint). No structures were damaged. No reported injuries. LAFD Air Operations lowered a rescuer to provide care, and prepare for a hoist. The patient was hoisted by Fire 1 and transported to an area hospital in fair condition.
