Update Brush Fire; INC#0898; 01:28PM; 1639 N Laurel Canyon Bl; https://bit.ly/44TWAE9; Hollywood Hills West; There are currently four homes threatened but due to the proper brush clearance in place, they have good defensible space and firefighters are able to get water on the fire while defending the homes. Additional crews are working to gain access to the seat of the fire and deploy progressive hose lays to encircle the fire. There are no evacuation orders in place. There is a rubbish fire down in an access hole alongside railroad track which has not be extinguished with the water already applied. Making entry to investigate and extinguish requires the confined space protocol for safety reasons. The patient is stable (age/gender unknown). It will likely be an extended operation to stabilize and then safely remove the tree to extricate the patient.
