No structures threatened. 5 homes were evacuated early in the incident but there are no further evacuations, no structures damaged and no injuries reported. Over 158 LAFD firefighters on scene with LACoFD as Assisting Agency providing 5 camp crews and 1 helicopter. Update Brush Fire; 02:54PM; 2969 N Mandeville Canyon Rd; internal:/; Brentwood; Fire now at approximately 20 acres with 5-10 mph on-shore winds. Water-dropping helicopters (2 from LAFD, 1 from LACoFD) placing effective drops to contain forward progress. High humidity, creating moisture in the air, is assisting with the slow movement of the fire. While the fire did burn within 200' of structures, firefighters performing structural defense prevented any further threat and no homes are currently at risk. There is no evacuation order in place.
