Update Structure Fire; 06:41PM; 9433 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; #NORTHHILLS KNOCKDOWN: 65FF in 33 mins. This vacant craftsman with a converted attic and basement was heavily boarded up, creating forcible entry challenges and delaying access to the seat of the fire both in the rear of the structure and attic. Aggressive firefighting prevailed and exposed building was defended, sustaining no damage. No injuries reported. Cause TBD; FS 7; Batt 12; Valley Bureau; Council District 6; Margaret Stewart

Update Structure Fire; 06:22PM; 9433 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; #NORTHHILLS Building is very compartmentalized and boarded, creating access challenges getting hand lines to each section of the building. Firefighters have now been able to make access to the converted attic, where there is heavy fire, and are making good progress. No injuries reported. Exposed building has been protected from damage. Additional resources were requested prior to successful forcible entry creating access points. Total fire companies now assigned is provided below (raising it to a Greater Alarm) but not all those units have arrived on scene. Update Rescue; 01:25PM; 865 N Stradella Rd; internal:/; Bel Air / Holmby Hills; 56yo male patient suffered catastrophic medical emergency and was determined dead on scene. Construction site is a large grading operation down approx 300' hillside with multiple levels. LAFD search and rescue resources will remain on scene to conduct a two line rope operation to perform body recovery for LA County Coroner / LAPD for body recovery.
