Port Police summoned LAFD fireboats and land crews to assist the pilot (sole occupant) of a seaplane type aircraft that reportedly made an unexpected landing upon water within the Port of Los Angeles. The plane is floating, and no injury has been reported. There is no fire or fuel spill. The aircraft is now being towed by a harbor patrol boat to a nearby dock. LAFD crews will follow.
