Update Structure Fire 08/10/2016

Update Structure Fire; 08:15PM; 1244 S Bonnie Brae; internal:/; Pico-Union / Koreatown; Updated to: 3 Craftsman style homes. Corner home (1232 Bonnie Brae - light color) housed 3 residences, the adjacent structure (1238 Bonnie Brae - red color) and the structure behind (1820/1822 12th Place) both had 2 residences within the structures. Fire started outside of 1232 Bonnie Brae and spread from there. The cause is 'undetermined'. All 41 displaced occupants (total from all 3 structures) will be moved by bus to Fire Station 13 (2401 W Pico Blvd) where the firefighters will provide shelter and food until Red Cross is able to place them. Update Structure Fire; 07:27PM; 1244 S Bonnie Brae; internal:/; Pico-Union / Koreatown; Total of 3 structures damaged. Two large Craftsman homes plus a small, 2 story apartment building to the rear of the homes. Total of 41 occupants displaced (31 adults, 10 children). No patients required transportation to hospital. 3 dogs were pulled out of the initial structure and two were reunited with their owners, unfortunately one was deceased. Update Structure Fire; 05:56PM; 1244 S Bonnie Brae; internal:/; Pico-Union / Koreatown; KNOCKDOWN Over 140 FF in 1 hour 11 mins. FF continue to root out hot spots and the area will be closed for extensive overhaul operations + cause investigation. One patient, from an adjacent structure not one of the fire involved buildings, being evaluated for medical complaint. ; FS 13; Batt 11; Central Bureau; Council District 1; Margaret Stewart

Update Structure Fire; 05:33PM; 1244 S Bonnie Brae; internal:/; Pico-Union / Koreatown; Over 140 FF onscene, making good progress on both homes and have protected another adjacent home from damage. No injuries reported. FF continue to work to fully extinguish fire, both roofs now unstable and not safe for operations.
