Update Knockdown Structure Fire; INC#0832; 01:17PM; 6501 W 83rd St; http://bit.ly/37ik73U; Westchester; *Address corrected to 6501*. 41 Firefighters took just 16 minutes to extinguish fire in a detached *carport* that was fully involved with fire, containing 2 automobiles and 1 motorcycle. Flames also extended to, but were skilfully confined to limit damage within a small interior first floor area of the adjacent 2 story home. No injury. Update Explosion; INC#0752; 03:00PM; 12224 W Montague St; http://bit.ly/38uGkfm; Pacoima; The patient is still in critical condition at a local hospital with severe burns, after being lit on fire by an explosion near the electrical panel of a large one-story commercial building. Bystanders used fire extinguishers to douse the flames and save the man. DWP arrived on scene to de-energize the area. The remaining fire at the electrical panel has been extinguished, now that the electrical hazard has been eliminated. No other injuries. Unknown cause of the explosion. As soon as the electrical hazard is removed, firefighters will engage and work on fire suppression. Flames have been seen in the area. Update COMPLETE Earthquake Mode Incident; INC#0002; 12:45AM; internal:/; The LAFD has concluded the systematic survey of the City of Los Angeles by ground and air, and is pleased to report that no major infrastructure damage was noted by our personnel in the City of Los Angeles, and that there has been no loss of life or serious injury that we can directly attribute to the M3.6 earthquake. With our survey complete, the LAFD has concluded Earthquake Emergency Mode and has resumed normal operations. We ask you to use today's quake as a reminder to be prepared. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1629; 11:03PM; 11388 N Dronfield Te; http://bit.ly/2RjR22F; Pacoima; 26 FF in 20 min. Firefighters engaged in a transitional attack, extinguishing the outside flames first and working their way to an offensive interior attack to fully extinguish the fire, with the help of roof division ventilating the structure. A search revealed that all occupants were out of the structure. No other patients reported. No transports from the scene. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1461; 10:00PM; 10770 W Lawler St; http://bit.ly/2Rz8dfy; Palms; Firefighters found fire coming from a roof vent upon arrival. One bathroom contained a small amount of fire in the ducting near a fan motor. 26 firefighters located and extinguished the fire in the vent and walls in 26 minutes. No reported injuries.
