KNOCKDOWN Boat Fire; INC#0999; 03:05PM; 1500 E Anchorage Rd; https://bit.ly/3bY3dvh; San Pedro; LAFD responded by land and sea to find two power vessels, approximately 30 feet long, engulfed in flames. Thirty-two firefighters extinguished the flames in 30 minutes. No reports of individuals previously living on these vessels. No reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0911; 02:39PM; 744 S Hartford Av; https://bit.ly/3oeINEb; Westlake; *Greater Alarm* Firefighters arrived to find fire had moved through the crawl space, walls, and into the attic inside of a vacant two-story home, adjacent to a multi-story residential apartment building. Several additional task forces responded due to the proximity of the multi-story apartment building, which was ultimately spared. Over 100 firefighters aggressively engaged in a coordinated attack, overcoming forcible entry challenges, to vertically ventilate the structure and extinguish the flames in 35 minutes. No reported injuries. Hiker Rescue; INC#0569; 10:19AM; O'Melveny Park; https://bit.ly/3BRjLzB; Granada Hills; PRELIM: LAFD ground and air response to a teenage male hiker with an apparent ankle injury on a remote trail in the O'Melveny Park area of the Santa Susana Mountains. A hovering LAFD rescue helicopter has lowered a rescuer to assess the patient and provide initial medical treatment. They prevented the fire from extending into the home or attic, and no injuries have been reported.
