LAFD presence will remain on scene throughout the night continuing to clean up hot spots and work with #LACoFD hand crews to clear areas. This is a "dirty-burn" which means there is still a lot of standing, half-burned fuel susceptible to reburning which must be cleared to keep residents safe. The fire is slow moving in moderate to heavy brush and location is a distance from the roads, in arduous terrain, requiring firefighters to hike in carrying all equipment.
