Update FATALITY Structure Fire; INC#0205; 04:28AM; 516 S Clarence St (updated address); https://bit.ly/3JNmrUO; Boyle Heights; KNOCKDOWN: 44 firefighters extinguished the fire in 21 minutes, preventing it from spreading beyond the unit of origin. While conducting a thorough search of the apartment, firefighters located a victim and determined death on scene. LAFD Arson is responding for the investigation. This will remain an active scene for the duration of the morning and commuters are advised to avoid the area of S Clarence St, south of East 4th St due to the presence of LAFD apparatus.
