[Rescued] Hiker Rescue 06/06/2026 INC#1718

[Rescued] Hiker Rescue; INC#1718; 11:32PM; 6050 N Balboa Bl; https://bit.ly/4vqovbQ; Sepulveda Basin; BC10 is BALBOA IC E100 upgraded incident to a hiker incident. Found a 37 year old man on a bike fell off the trail a number of feet. Air Operations performed a hoist operation and has secured the patient. Patient is being medically treated in the LAFD helicopter and being transported to a local hospital. Currently the, medical.severity and injuries are unknown. No reported injuries to LAFD members at this time. [UPDATE] Hiker Rescue; INC#1392; 06:42PM; 1900 Wattles Dr; https://bit.ly/4uUZbuH; Hollywood Hills West; Reported hiker approximately 50 to 60 year old male determined deceased on scene. At this time no known cause of medical condition or possible injury. LAFD Air Operations lowered a rescuers to the patient and medical treatment was administered. Park rangers and LAPD will secure the scene. WATTLES IC requesting LAPD and Park Rangers. LAPD Inc#3789. Department of Fish and Wildlife enroute.
