Firefighters defended a three story commercial building adjacent to the fire. The fire extended from the original unit into the 2nd attached occupancy. One firefighter was transported with non-life threatening injuries. PIO Captain Erik Scott will be on scene shortly to assist the media. LAFD Arson section is on scene to conduct a cause investigation per protocol for a Major Emergency structure fire. This operation will be continuing through the night so please avoid the intersection.
