Amazingly, neither trapped person or the truck driver was visibly injured, though one (unknown age/gender) of the trapped persons was taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics for further evaluation. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1642; 10:20PM; 524 N Poinsettia Pl; https://bit.ly/3zl0ENa; Fairfax; LAFD firefighters responded to a one-story single-family home, where heavy fire was consuming the rear of the structure and threatening neighboring structures. Firefighters skillfully doused the flames and confined the fire to the original occupancy. It took 36 firefighters 24 minutes to extinguish the flames. Red cross has been notified to assist a family of 4 who will be displaced. No reported injuries.
