Four have potentially life threatening injuries, while the other five have lesser injuries. No details are available on their ages, genders, specific medical conditions, affiliation or circumstances. LADWP is on scene. They have stopped the flow of water from the hydrant and will be safely securing the toppled power lines. An LAFD Urban Search and Rescue unit is at the scene to assist the Department of Building and Safety (en route with an unknown ETA) in a detailed examination of the WSS footwear store that suffered a roof collapse and interior damage following the deluge with water from the sheared hydrant. All store employees are accounted for, and no other patients are believed to be outstanding.
