Update Traffic Collision; 03:04PM; 11200 W Penrose St x Golden St FY; internal:/; Sun Valley; Collision involved a 18 wheel "big rig" versus "Low Boy" tanker and also included damage to a high voltage transformer. Two patients with non-life-threatening injuries being evaluated. The fuel spill (approximately 45 gallons) is contained, diked and no fuel is entering the storm drain. The situation is static, awaiting DWP to take over the electrical hazard. CHP and LAPD handling traffic (this incident is NOT on the freeway, it is on city streets).
