Update Structure Fire - North Hollywood; INC#1827; 11:03PM; 5400 N Tujunga Av; https://bit.ly/3nGziw4; North Hollywood; KNOCKDOWN: 111 firefighters in one hour and 56 minutes with no injuries reported. Fire destroyed two buildings, housing three businesses, while firefighters successfully defended a 3rd building under construction (framing stage). While this incident was reported as an outside fire extending into a building, LAFD Arson Section is on scene conducting the cause investigation. A residential high-rise building across from the fire was impacted by smoke blanketing the area but there were no medical complaints. Firefighters ensured the building was ventilated and cleared all alarms. The overhaul operation will last at least two hours and the investigation will likely resume in the morning, consequently the area will remain closed for an undetermined period of time.
