Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1678; 10:05PM; 18900 W Parthenia St; https://bit.ly/3dXoYKl; Northridge; A Greater Alarm response to a 24,408 sq-ft two-story garden-style apartment building with heavy fire throughout. LAFD is in offensive mode in a rescue profile, working to rescue residents from the fire, while simultaneously trying to mitigate the fire problem throughout the building. One male patient has been transported to a local hospital from the scene. 74 firefighters extinguished the fire in 43 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
