Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1122; 05:47PM; 1168 E 55th St; https://bit.ly/3g4St1G; Central-Alameda; The fire appeared to have started with a shed behind the residence and spread into the home (including attic). Firefighters deployed roof ladders to safely cut on the steep-pitched roof, while crews below simultaneous entered with hose lines to extinguish the flames inside (36 firefighters in 22 minutes). All occupants were out of the home at the time of the fire. Firefighters skillfully prevented the fire from spreading to two other adjacent homes. No reported injuries.
