Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0937; 02:34PM; 238 W 40th Pl; https://bit.ly/3jHhW0H; Historic South-Central; It took 42 LAFD firefighters 14 minutes to extinguish the flames in a one-story single-family home. Firefighters made an aggressive interior fire attack, coordinated with rooftop vertical ventilation, to knock down the flames that were primarily in the kitchen and attic. Primary and secondary searches were clear, with no reported injuries.
