Update Structure Fire; INC#0344; 08:53AM; 100 E Washington Bl; https://bit.ly/3yWzNIL; Historic South-Central; The condition of the building created significant safety hazards, therefore it is requiring a longer time to ensure all personnel remain safe while reaching the remaining pockets of fire. An official 'knockdown' has not been declared but the incident clock is turned off and the work will continue until all fire is extinguished. While the large smoke plume could be seen across Los Angeles, crews have prevented extension to the surrounding structures. Firefighters will remain on scene for approximately two hours conducting overhaul operations. The Northbound Blueline track will likely remain closed for another hour (estimated).
