Update Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#1181; 05:00PM; 1306 N Highland Av; https://bit.ly/3ZamV0o; #Hollywood; After a fierce nearly 30 minute offense against intense flames, the 124 assigned LAFD Firefighters have transitioned to a defensive firefight in what is now categorized as a "Major Emergency" fire, as they battle heavy fire that has led to structural compromise of the automotive parts store, one of three businesses in the L-shaped one-story strip mall. The other businesses being a delicatessen and a sushi restaurant. No injuries reported. #LATraffic: Full closure of northbound and southbound Highland Avenue between DeLongpre Avenue and Lexington Avenue until LAFD operations are complete. Unknown ETO.
