Update Hiker Rescue; INC#1081; 05:20PM; Upper Las Virgenes Canyon; https://maps.app.goo.gl/gQ1uL8RrsNavGT6J8; #VenturaCounty; The first to arrive LAFD Rescue Helicopter responding in Automatic Aid to the Ventura County Fire Department, discovered the patient in remote terrain, and lowered an LAFD Flight Paramedic to medically assess and stabilize the 62 year-old female, who sustained a severe ankle and possible head injury. She will soon be hoisted along with the LAFD Flight Paramedic into the hovering LAFD Rescue Helicopter for continuing in-flight care during direct air transport to a regional trauma center.
