Update Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0476; 10:00AM; 1435 N Las Palmas Av; https://bit.ly/3yFAu9A; #Hollywood; Now, 80 LAFD firefighters are assigned to the Greater Alarm structure fire in a two-story vacant theater in Hollywood. Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from the building. Shortly after making entry, heavy fire began burning through the roof. Crews withdrew from inside and set up hose lines on adjacent roofs, and ladder pipes, focusing on protecting the surrounding properties. The heavy fire load has compromised the structure and there is a partial collapse (with risk for further collapse). Crews working outside the structure remain aware of this risk and are taking precautions. No reports of injuries.
