Update #LopezCanyonFire Greater Alarm Brush Fire; INC#1313; 06:38PM; 12031 N Lopez Canyon Rd; https://bit.ly/3DVayIr; #LakeViewTerrace; The fire remains within LAFD jurisdiction, held at a little over four (4) acres of light grass and medium brush in steep terrain near the Lopez Canyon Landfill. The blaze is now 60% contained. No injuries have been reported. Firefighters will remain at scene tonight to check for hotspots, extinguish smoldering debris and further contain the fire's perimeter. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
