Update #GermainFire Brush Fire; INC#1009; 02:50PM; 22200 W Germain St; https://bit.ly/3lxLXC9; #Chatsworth; The 64 LAFD ground and airborne Firefighters assigned are now joined by LACoFD (ground and air) and VCFD (ground) responders in actively battling stubborn flames at what is known as the "Germain Fire", involving vegetation in rocky terrain (no acreage update), at what is considered a Mutual Threat Zone near the three agencies common border in/near Chatsworth Park. No imminent structure threat. No formal evacuation. As a precaution, railroad tracks in the Santa Susana Pass (Metrolink Ventura County Line / also used by Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Union Pacific Railroad) are being closed to all freight and passenger train traffic between Chatsworth and Simi Valley until the fire is controlled.
