Update Contained - #WorthFire Brush Fire; INC#1104; 04:11PM; 22230 W Chatsworth St; https://bit.ly/3xyBH20; #Chatsworth; LAFD Firefighters have stopped forward progress of the fire, and ground crews will continue to work on full containment. This fire was entirely within the City of Los Angeles and will be handled by LAFD. Los Angeles County and Ventura County Firefighters as well as helicopters are soon to be released. No updated acreage figure yet available. No injury. No structure threat. Though the fire did not damage railroad infrastructure in the Santa Susana Pass, out of an abundance of caution, the Metrolink (Ventura County Line) in that area (between Simi Valley and Chatsworth) that serves Metrolink, Amtrak and Union Pacific trains, will be temporarily closed until emergency operations are complete, and personnel have cleared the area.
