Update Brush Fire; INC#1189; 05:36PM; 238 S Av 64; https://bit.ly/3pvdDJO; Highland Park; Firefighters are facing extremely steep, difficult terrain as they conduct a ground based fire attack. Their determined efforts combined with strategic water drops by LAFD Air Ops have continued to hold the fire to less than 2.5 acres and defended all structures from any damage. There is not yet an official 'knockdown' declared but crews have made strong progress and no additional resources are anticipated to be needed. South Pasadena Fire and one engine on scene and LA County Fire is sending (2?) camp crews.
