Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#1416; 07:09PM; 11159 W La Maida St; https://bit.ly/45tLwi5; #NorthHollywood; Firefighters responded to a 5,518 sq-ft two-story single-family home with smoke showing. Firefighters made entry to the living space and found the home to be unoccupied and no visible fire. Upon further inspection, crews discovered fire in the attic. Before applying water above, crews performed salvage operations (gathering furniture and belongings together to cover with large tarps/plastic) to protect from damage while extinguishing the fire above. Ultimately, it took 30 firefighters 28 minutes (7:37pm) to respond, complete salvage, and access/extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
