Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0357; 08:24AM; 11976 W Culver Bl; https://bit.ly/3yuVkw1; #DelRey; Forty-two LAFD firefighters, along with Culver City FD, responded to a four-story modern apartment complex, where fire in one third-floor unit was held in check by an automatic fire sprinkler. Firefighters promptly extinguished the remaining flames and shut down the fire sprinkler. Approximately a dozen people were evacuated do to excessive water in the building, which successfully prevented the fire from advancing throughout the residential structure. Crews will remain on scene for an extended period of time to dewater the affected areas. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.
