Structure Fire KNOCKDOWN; INC#0146; 02:33AM; 710 S Broadway St; http://bit.ly/36BasFQ; Downtown; 36 firefighters were given an inexact location of a fire that stayed concealed while they searched multiple floors of multiple buildings before getting eyes on the problem on the 6th floor of an apartment building (built in 1909). Once the firefighters found the heat source, they quickly "drop bagged" a hose line (pulled the hose up from the ground up through a balcony/fire escape with a rope), and extinguished a small amount of fire (beams/joists appeared to be smoldering for several hours). There was evidence of construction in the area, but the definite cause of the fire remains unknown.
