Structure Fire; INC#1473; 11:04PM; 4004 S Cherrywood Av; http://bit.ly/2OEhumi; Leimert Park; 26 firefighters found a 1,593 sq-ft single-family home built in 1938 with fire inside to the rear. Firefighters systematically covered belongings inside to protect them from smoke and water, as the suppression efforts were underway. Firefighters on the roof cut a hole to ventilate the fire and found flames that reached out of the hole for a short time before interior crews completely knocked down the fire, 17 minutes after the initial alarm.
