Structure Fire; INC#0854; 01:24PM; 5517 W San Vicente Blvd; https://maps.app.goo.gl/upEamVv3Cc2vLLqXA; #MidWilshire; Initial arriving companies found a one-story vacant and boarded-up strip mall, approximately 50ft x 75ft, with light smoke showing from the attic. Crews initiated forcible entry and roof operations, but the fire load and extended operation time ultimately forced personnel to adopt a "defensive" posture -- all companies retreated and heavy streams of water were employed to continue extinguishing the flames and protect all exposures. One facade collapsed due to fire load during use of heavy water streams; no injuries reported.
