Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0164; 05:21AM; 877 N Bunker Hill Av; https://bit.ly/4gCwKLt; Chinatown; KNOCKDOWN: Over 130 firefighters (Major Emergency status) extinguished fire in both the building of origin and the three story apartment building on the East side in one hour and 36 minutes. There is damage to the three buildings on the south and west side, the extent of which is still being assessed. One patient was transported in critical condition and two additional patients were assessed and declined LAFD transport. The initial count of displaced occupants is 10. The Red Cross is responding to assist with immediate needs. LAFD Arson is on scene to conduct the cause investigation. PIO's Captain Adam VanGerpen and Firefighter David Ortiz are on scene for media requests.
