KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0917; 01:01PM; 800 E Florence Av; https://bit.ly/3y4tSW1; Florence; Firefighters responded to heavy fire at the corner of East Florence Avenue and McKinley Avenue, where a large storage yard was on fire (concrete walls surrounding the yard, with overhead roofing/protection built over part of the yard). Firefighters began in defensive mode, applying heavy water streams from the perimeter of the property. The intense heat caused flames to penetrate the adjacent (vacant) commercial building, where firefighters made interior access and fought back the encroaching flames from inside.
