KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1070; 05:18PM; 6334 N Peach Av; https://bit.ly/2zFIY3f; Van Nuys; Thirty-four LAFD firefighters coordinated efforts in a one-story home, where the attic was involved with fire. Firefighters covered belongings below the fire to protect from water damage. Crews above cut holes in the roof to ventilate the fire, allowing hot smoke and gas to escape and improve visibility below. It took 23 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
