KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1660; 10:15PM; 1274 W Court St; https://bit.ly/44MppmD; Echo Park; KNOCKDOWN: The first 26 firefighters initiated a transitional attack (coordinated application of water from the exterior of the structure that provides a 'break of the fire triangle' by cooling the environment prior to transitioning to an offensive attack) and once they knocked back the fire at the front of the structure they made entry for an offensive attack. It is a small structure (not currently occupied) and no other buildings were damaged. The additionally requested fire companies were canceled enroute. The knockdown was achieved in 15 minutes. A thorough search of the home found no one inside the building. Cause and $ loss TBD.
