KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0662; 12:17PM; 7727 N Lankershim Bl; https://bit.ly/40gnELB; Sun Valley; KNOCKDOWN: Over 80 firefighters extinguished the fire in 33 minutes. The flames were out the 2nd floor window and lapping up to the 3rd floor upon LAFD arrival. Firefighters conducted an interior attack on both floors and primarily held the blaze to the unit of origin. The extent of damage to the unit above is being determined. Two patients were transported with serious burn injuries. A thorough search of the involved units and the rest of the floors impacted by the smoke is underway to determine if any other occupants require medical attention. Per protocol for burn injuries, LAFD Arson section is responding for the investigation. LAFD PIOs are enroute for media availability.
