Knockdown #OakGroveFire Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#1212; 07:33PM; 1104 W Oak Grove Dr; https://bit.ly/2IlHfH8; Eagle Rock; It took 105 LAFD firefighters 1 hour and 49 minutes of relentless defensive operations to extinguish fire that fully involved a 110 year-old two-story 1,648 square-foot ascending hillside home on their arrival, with flames involving a large amount of thick vegetation on the property only ( seen in this March 2019 Google Street View: https://bit.ly/2Ue5t93 ). The home largely collapsed during the intense firefight, but no firefighter injuries have been reported.
